With WC 07 taking many U-Turns as it is progressing, todays match vs Sri Lanka would have been biggest surprise package to all the India Cricket Crazy fans...The much spoken and hyped batting line up, of what could have been said as one of the best teams in the World, team India crumbled to a team which got its basics right.
With a target within the range of team and with a 3 world class batsmen India could not turn the odds...
There were many astrologers who have predicted Rahul Dravid team's fate....Now they all have to pray for yet another miracle to happen 2 days from now as Bangaladesh takes on Bermuda so that India scrapes through to next level....I know its not right on my part 2 say so...But am a Indian fan....
As Boris Becker once famously said, no one died. A team - our team - lost, because it did not deserve to win.Sri Lankans were very good right from the first ball..Not that Men in Blue weren't...But atleast the second half saw Indians falling in a hurry...
Itz time for all the players to sit back..relax and spend some time with families... :)

Am sure many of the Indian fans were disappointed...So am i...but v know that they understand n play better than v do...v can't say dat they need 2 start playing in Gallis...c'mon v were the runners up last tyme...v won world cup once...v were in semis quite number of tmes...

U R being the "Eternal Optimist" with the tolerance to stand to the whims of our team. Not many a times in life do we get that chance to resurrect ourselves. But, here the whole of India has a got a chance to sleep over the hysteria of Cricket and look ahead. Lets play other things too and lets stop the eulogy of these cricketers who prove themselves to be to fragile to handle the pressure when it matters the most. Nobody doubts their talent, but their skills and attitude need a sea change. And once for all our attitude too...Not for anything else would I have skipped my sleep and work and food and waited with bated breath to see them win and finally all I get is nothing but a firm resolution to stop following this game of fools like a fool.
